Not a Substitute for Emergency Care
TrimDoc provides non-emergency telehealth services. Our platform is not equipped to handle medical emergencies. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, or any other emergency, call 911 immediately.
Scope of Telehealth Services
Telehealth has inherent limitations. Our clinicians evaluate patients based on information provided through video visits, questionnaires, and secure messaging. Telehealth may not be appropriate for all medical conditions. Your TrimDoc clinician will advise you if your condition requires in-person evaluation.
No Guarantee of Prescription or Treatment
Completing the TrimDoc intake process and scheduling a consultation does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued. All prescribing decisions are made solely at the professional discretion of your licensed treating physician, based on clinical appropriateness. Paying the $32 consultation fee does not guarantee any specific treatment outcome.
Individual Results Vary
Any clinical statistics, weight loss outcomes, or treatment results referenced on TrimDoc's website or in marketing materials represent population-level data from published clinical research or patient averages. Individual results vary significantly based on health status, adherence, metabolism, and other factors. TrimDoc does not guarantee any specific outcome.
Medication Risks and Side Effects
All medications carry risks. GLP-1 receptor agonists (such as semaglutide and tirzepatide) may cause side effects including but not limited to: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, decreased appetite, and injection site reactions. Less common but serious risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, and kidney problems. GLP-1 medications are contraindicated in patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2). Your clinician will review your full health history before any prescribing decision.
Hormone therapies (including HRT and testosterone) also carry risks that your clinician will discuss with you during your consultation.
Medication Payment
TrimDoc does not dispense, fulfill, or bill for medications. If a prescription is issued, it is sent electronically to a licensed pharmacy. The pharmacy contacts you directly for medication payment and delivery. TrimDoc has no control over medication pricing, availability, or the pharmacy's processes.
Informational Content
Content on TrimDoc's website — including articles, FAQ responses, statistics, and service descriptions — is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making health decisions.
Licensure
TrimDoc's licensed clinicians are authorized to practice medicine in specific U.S. states. State licensure is verified before your first visit. If no licensed provider is available in your state, you will be notified and no care will be provided.
